Quality Analyst I

The QA Analyst I is responsible for driving the system’s quality improvement within the software development process. Furthermore, s/he must be able to validate the thoroughness of the set quality and success criteria for effective and efficient business solution. 


QA Analyst I has a deep understanding of the system requirements to be able to create test cases, scripts and plans, validate acceptance criteria, relay testing results, and initially assess the software’s readiness in production in consideration of quality.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects.
  • Ensures quality of the system by conducting thorough unit and system testing, integration, and validation
  • Creates detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test scenarios, test plans, and test cases
  • Estimates, prioritizes, plans, and coordinates testing activities
  • Identifies, records, documents, and monitors thoroughly debugging processes and bugs tracking
  • Performs thorough system testing 
  • Tracks quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
  • Communicates appropriate options for resolution of issues in a timely manner
  • Prepares, creates, and revises user manuals and guides for the client and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Engages on activities that will enhance knowledge in the system being testing, discovering trends and identifying opportunities for system improvement, testing tools and test strategies
  • Performs duties and responsibilities analogous to the foregoing

Must Have

  • Progra​mming Language 
    C#, C++, Java, ASP.Net, .Net, PHP, HTML
  • Database
    MS SQL, MY SQL, POSTGRESQL  
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant working experience
  • High regard for safety standards and quality control

  • Basic multitasking

Nice to have

  • Knowledge in using JMeter
  • Knowledge in any of the following testing:
