The Company Nurse is responsible for providing first-aid, assessing health risks, promoting employee health, implementing OSH programs, conducting health seminars, documenting injuries, assisting with medical device distribution, assisting with hospitalizations, interpreting diagnostic tests, scheduling annual medical examinations, preparing reports for DOLE, maintaining confidentiality, and performing other duties.
Responsibilities
- Providing general first aid and assessing employee health risks
- Promoting employee health
- Assisting in the formulation and implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs
- Conducting health seminars
- Documenting employee injuries and illnesses while maintaining confidentiality
- Assisting in the distribution of medical device products
- Ensuring compliance with FDA technical requirements
- Assisting injured employees and arranging hospital visits when necessary
- Ensuring sick employees provide "fit to work" certificates upon returning
- Interpreting diagnostic tests
- Scheduling and assisting in annual medical examinations
- Preparing and submitting reports to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)
- Maintaining confidentiality and performing other assigned duties.
Must Have
- Graduate of four (4) year courses specializing in Nursing.
- Preferably a PRC License holder.
- Has knowledge in Occupational Safety & Health Promote employee health.
- Working experience as a company nurse or a regular nurse
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of OSH programs
