Internal Sportsfest 2023

Things get better with sports! 

Despite the overwhelming workload and the deadlines to be met, ECS employees went on a time out and played their hearts out during the ECS Mini-Sportsfest entitled “Synergy: Excellence in Unity.”

To ensure that employees develop a sense of competitiveness by promoting their well-being through sports, the 2-week event that ran from May 2 - May 12, 2023 in the Binondo main office saw how all of the six (6) departments (ACTG, HRAD, ISS, PSD, SDS, SMAC/BDC) battled it out for the championship.

Among the games played were Table Tennis, Darts, Chess, Scrabble, Mobile Legends, and Cup Relay. Each department clashed in the qualifying rounds, while the top 4 teams after the round ended entered the semifinals.

SMAC and BDC were hailed as the overall champions of the sportsfest. SDS came second, followed by Accounting and PSD. HRAD placed fifth, while ISS came sixth.

Each of the Top 4 placers received team certificates and cash prizes, respectively.
